Black Powers Nightmare Offense
|
The New York Nightmare handed the Syracuse Scorpions a 6-0 defeat at Nightmare Stadium. Left Fielder Rob Black starred for New York. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Syracuse drops to 3-8.
Black had a big hit for New York with one out in the bottom of the fifth. With New York leading 1-0, Black hit a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Nightmare up, 3-0.
"Rob was ready to go. Big day for him," said New York manager Joey Bishop.
