Ruhl Bashes 5 Base Hits

Medford third baseman Randy Ruhl had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Julian Jammers at Ballpark of Medford as the Desperados picked up a win, 31-2.
"He was patient up there," Medford skipper Noah Alexander told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ruhl has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Randy Ruhl grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and walked in a run in the 8th.
For the season, Ruhl is hitting at a .271 clip with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 17 runs. He has 29 hits, 6 walks and a .310 on-base percentage.
