Mt. Vernon's Stotler to Miss 4-5 Months Saturday, May 9th , 2026 When Gordie Stotler was hurt against the Anaheim Music, the Mt. Vernon Cyclones were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old first baseman suffered a fractured ankle running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Stotler would miss 4-5 months of the season. So far this year in 23 games, Stotler is hitting .273 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
