Santa Barbara's Marco Montes Injured Thursday, September 12th , 2024 When Marco Montes was hurt against the Sikeston Shamrocks, the Santa Barbara Super Troopers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old reliever suffered a fractured elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Montes would miss 8 months of the season. Over the season, Montes has made 16 relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 37 batters in 37.1 innings, yielded 15 walks and has a 1.69 ERA. Montes's record this year is 4-0. |
