He may have less experience than most of his ABA Class A- peers, but that didn't slow Dan McNamara down at all in 2025.

At the age of 23, the Little Rock second baseman has been named the winner of the Sub League 1 Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .343 batting average and a .425 on-base percentage this year. In 129 games he piled up 160 hits, 30 doubles, no triples, 30 home runs, 126 RBIs and 99 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 24. Matt Dean of the Little Rock Golden Gophers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Aaron Jacobs of the Little Rock Golden Gophers finished third.
