Garcia Grabs SL2 Pitcher of the Year Award Thursday, October 23rd , 2025 Roy Garcia had a terrific 2025 season in the Sub League 2. The Santa Barbara pitching stalwart received the most votes and has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The Super Troopers ace starred with an impressive 17-1 record. In 28 starts, he gave up 138 base hits and struck out 121 in 158.1 innings with a 2.27 ERA. Opposing teams hit .232 against him. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Brian Millet of the Montgomery Missions finished second in voting, while Jae-weong Hyun of the Santa Barbara Super Troopers finished third.
