He fanned 80 betters, while walking 15 and put up a record of 9-1 to go with his 3.00 ERA. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 24. Ronnie Downard of the Little Rock Golden Gophers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Victor Martinez of the Medford Desperados finished third.
