Freeman Rips Julian for 5 Hits Friday, September 6th , 2024 Even as a kid, Adam Freeman said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Jammers Park, Freeman showed how well he learned that lesson. The 23-year-old right fielder had 5 hits in 7 at-bats for the Providence Hex, helping his team knock off the Julian Jammers by a score of 19-8. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Adam Freeman grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, doubled in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
