Mt. Vernon Sits Atop Sub League 2 East Division Wednesday, September 4th , 2024 Leo Carballo said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Mt. Vernon Cyclones teammates were so excited to celebrate their Sub League 2 East Division championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 77-58 record on the season. It is the club's 1st Sub League 2 East Division championship and puts them in position for their 1st ABA Class A- championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Dan McClure said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
