SL2 Star of the Week Named Monday, September 2nd , 2024 Pitchers who faced the Santa Barbara Super Troopers last week were happy to see John Hearne in the rear-view mirror. The 21-year-old first baseman was dubbed the Sub League 2 Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .345 clip. For the week he also chalked up 10 hits in 29 at-bats, 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Currently Hearne is batting .252 with 65 hits and 19 home runs. He has knocked in 49 runs and scored 53 times. |
