Bad News for Greensboro, Elliott Injured Sunday, September 1st , 2024 A blow for Stewart Elliott today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Elliott suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Greensboro Naturals are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Elliott's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Elliott's record so far this season is 5-and-4 with 5 saves and a 10.91 ERA. He has given up 79 hits in 48.2 innings with 28 strikeouts. |
