SL2 Awards Player of the Week Monday, July 29th , 2024 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Mike Fitzgerald was rewarded with the Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Savannah Alpines first baseman hit .667 while collecting 8 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. Thus far this season, Fitzgerald is hitting .373 with 10 home runs, 41 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 79 hits in 212 at-bats and has played in 65 games. |
