Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Baumgardner Tuesday, May 14th , 2024 Mike Baumgardner's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Santa Ana. The 21-year-old left fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the St. Joseph Mighty Mites. The Black Aces won the game, 7-5. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Mike Baumgardner flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. For the year, Baumgardner is hitting .389 with 7 home runs. His stats include 30 runs batted in and 27 runs scored. |
