Super Troopers McPherson Smacks 5 Hits

Santa Barbara left fielder Jordan McPherson put on quite a show at Car Ramrod Park with a big 5-hit day in his team's 11-6 victory over the Wichita Panthers.
"Not a bad day at the plate, 5-for-5," he said in the postgame interview. "Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average, and my salary, too."
Jordan McPherson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Edwin Lozano in the 8th.
In 31 games McPherson is hitting .362 this season with 47 hits, 17 home runs, 47 RBIs, 10 walks, .403 OBP and has scored 39 runs.
