Great Stroke: Cooper Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, May 8th , 2024 Chris Cooper had an answer for everything the Wichita Panthers threw at him at Shamrocks Park. The Sikeston shortstop went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Shamrocks a win, 14-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Cooper said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Chris Cooper hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
