Waco Stops Kilcoyne Hit Streak Sunday, May 24th , 2026 It just wasn't Brian Kilcoyne's day. The Providence Hex grabbed the 5-2 win over the Waco Warlocks, but the Warlocks mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 20-game hitting streak of Hex second baseman Brian Kilcoyne. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Kilcoyne," Waco manager Mike Schwartz commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Hex have other hitters and they did their job today." For the season, Kilcoyne is hitting .350, batted in 19 runs with 5 home runs and 34 runs scored. |
