Beason Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Wichita Friday, May 22nd , 2026 Brian Beason's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 22 games, as the Newport News Wranglers dropped their contest with the Wichita Panthers, 4-0, at Wranglers Stadium. Beason failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Beason spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year, Beason is hitting .367 with 55 hits, 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 24 runs. |
