Music End Perez Streak Tuesday, June 10th , 2025 Javy Perez came rolling into today's game against the Anaheim Music with a 20-game hitting string, but he left it on the field at Music Grove. The 22-year-old Montgomery Missions left fielder went 0-for-3 against the Music as the Missions fell, 4-3. "I swung at a couple pitches I probably shouldn't have and I didn't swing at a couple I probably should have," he said, grimacing. "But that's what makes a hit streak so impressive in the first place -- it only takes a couple mistakes to end it all." Perez is hitting .341 this season with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 217 at-bats. |
