Kovatch 5-for-6 for Santa Barbara Saturday, June 7th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Cameron Kovatch is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Savannah Alpines at Car Ramrod Park. The monster effort from the 21-year-old center fielder helped the Santa Barbara Super Troopers get the win, 16-4. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Alpines manager Ryan Allen. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Cameron Kovatch singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
