Greensboro Stops LaCasse Hit Streak Friday, June 6th , 2025 The Greensboro Naturals did something to Jarrod LaCasse no team had done for the last 25 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Desperados, who came away with the 8-3 victory at Ballpark of Medford. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 21-year-old left fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." This year, LaCasse is batting .369 with 65 hits, 4 home runs, 40 RBIs, 17 walks, .428 OBP and has scored 33 runs. |
