LaCasse Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, May 25th , 2025 Jarrod LaCasse's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Medford left fielder smacked 1 hit against the St. Joseph Mighty Mites in today's game at Mighty Mites Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Desperados drop the game, 8-5. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Jarrod LaCasse flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, LaCasse has compiled a .361 batting average, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 35 runs. He has played in 44 games and scored 29 runs. |
