Poff Launches 3 HR for Naturals Wednesday, May 20th , 2026 It was a good day for the Greensboro Naturals and an exceptional one for Latrell Poff. The 22-year-old right fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Naturals beat the Julian Jammers, 13-10, at Jammers Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Poff said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats. Latrell Poff grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Banmei Endo in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, walked in a run in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. In 38 games Poff is hitting .304 this season with 51 hits, 12 home runs, 27 RBIs, 11 walks, .348 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
