Justin York Injured, Out for Season

The season is finished for Justin York of the Wichita Panthers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Panthers shortstop suffered a concussion while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal.

York is currently batting .263 with 4 home runs, 14 runs scored and 14 RBIs. His OBP is .311.
