Top AJUCO Pitcher for 2026 Named Thursday, May 14th , 2026 The ABA Junior College announced today that Adam McCarthy has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2026. The Johnson County Community College starter had everything working for him this past season as he soared to a 5-3 record. In his exceptional season McCarthy chalked up a 1.53 ERA in 64.2 innings with 58 strikeouts and 21 walks. Enemy teams hit .229 against him in his 11 starts. He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 6. Corey Schrum of the Crowder College Roughriders finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Pat Tanner of the Johnson County Community College Cavaliers finished third.
