Playoff Bound: Johnson County Community College Secures Wild Card

Johnson County Community College Cavaliers manager Garrett King said an East Division championship was the goal, but they are still pleased to have won a wild card position.
"You'd rather go in there as the top team, but all that matters is we're in the playoffs," he said. "Once the postseason starts, everyone's got a chance."
Johnson County Community College reliever Julius Hosey said the members of the team are all incredibly focused on capturing a Round 1, which would be the club's 1st.
"We all want this badly," he said.

AJUCO News: Regular Season ends

The ABA Junior College regular season is over. The good clubs that made the playoffs are headed back to the ballparks to determine the league's top team, while the other teams can be found on the first tee, half-heartedly enjoying the offseason with mixed emotions.
It's playoff time, when the best teams play one another with the ultimate prize at stake -- the Round 1 championship.
