Crowder College Roughriders Sweep Round 1 Thursday, April 30th , 2026 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Crowder College Roughriders, that meant the ABA Junior College Round 1 trophy. The Roughriders took a 11-3 victory over the Johnson County Community College Cavaliers at JCCC Baseball Facility, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-0. "We've got grit," said Roughriders shortstop Alex Morales, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to." The new titleholders completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the East Division and a 31-19 record. |
