Contreras Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, June 3rd , 2025 Danny Contreras was at the head of a San Bernardino Flight hit parade at Cincinnati Grounds. The 16-year-old went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the Buckeye Local Panthers that marched off with the 17-10 win. "We didn't have it today," griped Flight skipper Nick Neumann following the game. "Danny did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching." Contreras did more than fine, dominating the Panthers at the plate during his record-making 5-for-5 performance. "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging first baseman told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." Danny Contreras singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Alberto Sanchez in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
