Sullivan Runs Hit String to 25 Straight Games

Brent Sullivan has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Etowah High School catcher picked up 3 more today against the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons and now has a 25-game hitting streak. The Eagles won the game, 4-0.
"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Brent Sullivan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off John Gillies in the 5th and walked in the 8th.
For the season, Sullivan has hit .402 with 9 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 18 times.
