Coppell High School Wins Round 1 Tuesday, May 12th , 2026 With a 10-7 victory at Coppell ISD Baseball Complex, the Coppell High School Cowboys have completed a sweep of the Allatoona High School Buccaneers in the Round 1. "On to the Round 2 and feeling good," said Justin Walsh. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit." For the series, Walsh hit .333 and won series MVP honors. He had 6 home runs, drove in 12 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Coppell High School Cowboys don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chiles High School Timberwolves - Southlake Carroll High School Dragons series. Chiles High School leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
