Rau Raps 4 Roundtrippers Saturday, April 20th , 2024 In a game for the ages, North Oconee High School Titans first baseman J.J. Rau launched 4 home runs at North Oconee High School Stadium against the Grenada High School Matadors. Time after time, Rau found his stroke against the shell-shocked Matadors pitching staff, finishing with 5 RBIs and scoring 4 times as the Titans grabbed the 9-4 victory. "They pitch 'em and I hit 'em. I just did it a little better than them today," Rau said to reporters after his historic game. "I won big today, but they might get me out 4 times tomorrow." J.J. Rau hit a solo-shot off Andy Slagel in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Andy Slagel in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Andy Slagel in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Quinn Mahan in the 7th. So far this year, Rau has 21 home runs and a .356 batting average. |
