Walsh Hits 4 Homers Against Buccaneers Saturday, May 9th , 2026 Coppell High School Cowboys right fielder Justin Walsh totally decimated the Allatoona High School Buccaneers, finishing with 4 home runs in his team's 9-5 win. The Buccaneers had no answer for Walsh, who finished the day 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "What can I say? My guys could've shot the ball out of a rifle and he'd probably hit them out anyway," said Allatoona High School skipper Manny Ortega. "There's nothing you can do when a guy gets in that kind of zone, you just hope he cools down some before you have to face him again." When asked about his record performance, Walsh responded, "After the first two I just tried to do everything the same way and it worked." Justin Walsh walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Steven Hubble in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Chase Generoso in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Manny Torres in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jonathan Avila in the 9th. So far on the season, Walsh is hitting .321 with 21 home runs, 44 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 44 hits and played in 38 games. |
