Coppell High School Clinches Postseason Appearance Wednesday, May 6th , 2026 The Coppell High School Cowboys could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2026 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Cowboys. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said starting pitcher Dan Vatalaro. What ended up happening is that the team's 26-14 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 1st Round 3 in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Vatalaro said. |
