Big 3-HR Day for Mangham Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 Glenn Mangham brutalized the Liberty High School Patriots pitching staff, launching three home runs in the 20-10 Stockdale High School victory at Stockdale High School Baseball Field. The Stockdale High School Mustangs shortstop was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Too much Glenn Mangham today," Patriots manager Dave Hernandez said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Glenn Mangham flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Mangham is hitting .217 this year with 9 home runs and 25 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .331, 19 walks and scored 20 times. |
