Kyle Hopper Hurt, Out for Year Friday, May 1st , 2026 Kyle Hopper will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Villa Park High School starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Hopper was injured while throwing a pitch in the Spartans-Pirates clash at Villa Park High School Field recently. Doctors said he has a bone spur in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. This season, Hopper has a 1-3 mark in 7 starts with a 7.04 ERA. He has given up 39 hits in 30.2 innings, struck out 36 and issued 10 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .300 batting average against him. |
