That's exactly what Bobby McFarland did at Notre Dame Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 6-3. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," McFarland said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Buford High School Wolves second baseman blistered the Notre Dame High School Knights for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Notre Dame High School manager Jonas LeMire said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Bobby McFarland hit a solo-shot off Travis O'Neill in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Travis O'Neill in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Matthew Pothier in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
