Centurions Danny McDowell Down and Out for Year Sunday, April 7th , 2024 The season is finished for Danny McDowell of the Cypress High School Centurions. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Centurions starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Marcus High School Marauders. Team doctors said it would take at least 12-13 months to heal. For this year, McDowell has chalked up 1 win and 1 loss in 1 starts with 16 strikeouts in 12.2 innings and a 14.92 ERA. |
