Big 3-HR Day for Martinez Saturday, April 25th , 2026 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Red Devils-Buccaneers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Loganville High School third baseman Cesar Martinez thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Loganville High School to a win, 14-13, over Allatoona High School. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Martinez said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Martinez was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 RBI. Cesar Martinez hit a solo-shot off Dan McDonald in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Dan McDonald in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Ronnie Laskey in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Currently Martinez is batting .176 with 12 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
