Hicks Connects for 3 Homers for Eagles

Adam Hicks went yard three times in a Etiwanda High School Eagles victory over the North Oconee High School Titans at Etiwanda High School Stadium.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Etiwanda High School left fielder went 5-for-5 against North Oconee High School with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Eagles to the 16-5 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Adam Hicks doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Sam Cubbage in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Sam Cubbage in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mike Styers in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Hicks is batting .302 this year with 15 home runs, 37 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 96 at-bats.
