3-HR Day for Magliaro Sunday, March 24th , 2024 Cory Magliaro brutalized the Lake Travis High School Cavaliers pitching staff, launching three home runs in the 13-10 Taravella High School victory at Taravella High School Baseball Stadium. The Taravella High School Trojans first baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Too much Cory Magliaro today," Cavaliers manager Caleb Carrington said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Cory Magliaro hit a two-run home run off Ryan Brems in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ryan Brems in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Mike Cornelius in the 4th and grounded out in the 7th. |
