Sullivan Pounds 3 HR Sunday, April 12th , 2026 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Brent Sullivan had an outstanding day at North Oconee High School Stadium for the Etowah High School Eagles, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Eagles fell to the North Oconee High School Titans, 19-11. Sullivan had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 18-year-old catcher banged out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 6 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Eagles were not able to hold off the Titans. "Baseball is a funny game," Sullivan said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Brent Sullivan hit a solo-shot off Sam Cubbage in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Sam Cubbage in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jared Creaney in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This season, Sullivan is hitting .338 with 26 hits, 9 home runs, 19 RBIs, scored 21 runs and played in 21 games. |
