Kara Suspended by League Thursday, April 2nd , 2026 Both Nick Kara and his manager can't believe the Grapevine High School left fielder was suspended 3 games by the league commissioner for making contact with an umpire during yesterday's game against Huntington Beach High School. Kara only said, "It's not right. I didn't bump him." His manager was more colorful and told reporters today, "The suspension is outrageous. Arguments like this go on all the time. The suspension is totally uncalled for. In the heat of battle, there are going to be arguments," he said. "If they want to take that away, let's go to Sunday School and be choir boys." Kara is hitting .222 for the season with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has 10 hits in 45 at-bats and played in 12 games. |
