Manager Carrington and Rockwall-Heath High School Part Company Wednesday, June 4th , 2025 The Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks are looking for a new manager after announcing the release of Walt Carrington today. Present at the press conference were Rockwall-Heath High School owner The owner of the Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks and GM . "We need a fresh new start," the club's owner said. "I felt for a number of reasons, we needed new direction, invigoration and to play with more enthusiasm." "I had a wonderful time with the Hawks," Carrington told BNN. "They gave me a great opportunity. They revived my interest in baseball and really gave me a great opportunity to expand my career. I'm more grateful for the job they gave me than I am saddened and upset by the firing." "We've got a lot of work to do," general manager said, "and in the next several days we're going to sit down and examine all aspects of the operation. We will proceed with a search as soon as we possibly can and see if we can't set things in motion for the future of this franchise." |
