Eagles Move on to Round 3 Saturday, May 24th , 2025 The Georgetown High School Eagles are on to the Round 3, having knocked out the Etiwanda High School Eagles 4-1. The final blow came tonight at Etiwanda High School Stadium, where Georgetown High School sealed the Round 2 with a 8-2 triumph. Avery Williams was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Williams hit .500 with a .542 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Georgetown High School Eagles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Allatoona High School Buccaneers - Calvary Christian High School Warriors series. Calvary Christian High School leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
