Wolverines Heading to Round 3 Friday, May 26th , 2023 The Woodstock High School Wolverines and Marcus High School Marauders hooked up in a classic Round 2 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Woodstock High School heading off to the Round 3, after a 10-3 win at Marcus Marauder Baseball Field tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Marcus Marauder Baseball Field, whether they were supporters of Woodstock High School or Marcus High School, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Juan Lopez played the hero for the Wolverines in the series, as his MVP performance included a .357 batting average, with a .455 on-base percentage. He also had 3 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Woodstock High School Wolverines will play against the Parkview High School Panthers in the next round. Parkview High School won their series against the De La Salle High School Spartans 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
