Lopez Goes Cycling Tuesday, May 9th , 2023 Today at Buccaneer Baseball Field, Woodstock High School Wolverines left fielder Juan Lopez accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Wolverines to a win, 8-5, over the Allatoona High School Buccaneers. In a standout performance, Lopez laced 4 hits in 5 at-bats and had 4 runs batted in. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Lopez told reporters. Juan Lopez singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Joe Giunta in the 3rd, tripled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. Thus far this year, Lopez is hitting .351 with 15 home runs, 41 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
