Injury Sidelines Andrew Ross For Year
Wednesday, May 3rd , 2023
When Stoneman Douglas High School reliever Andrew Ross was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Eagles-Oilers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Ross had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 9 months.
This season, Ross has logged no saves. He has thrown 30.2 innings, dished out 25 strikeouts and walked 34 while putting up a 5-2 mark and a 5.28 ERA.
