Marcus High School Marauders Guaranteed Top Spot in High School Baseball League University Interscholastics League Wednesday, May 3rd , 2023 The Marcus High School Marauders are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a Round 3 parade in the city of Marcus High School. They've taken the big first step, winning the High School Baseball League University Interscholastics League title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said center fielder Travis Lockridge. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 28-9 and it is the 1st time they've won the division title. Team manager Alfredo Rojas said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
