St. Johns Country Day High School Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, April 28th , 2023 The playoff hopes of the St. Johns Country Day High School Spartans have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2023 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 3 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Spartans reliever Tim Donaldson. The Spartans have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 19 years as a ABA High School franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2020. In the last 10 seasons, the Spartans have made the playoffs 5 times. |
