Nashua Draws Blanks Against Bennett Sunday, May 17th , 2026 The Nashua Sweepers were almost helpless in their 9-0 loss to the London Werewolves and hurler Carl Bennett. Bennett kept the Sweepers confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Bennett," Nashua manager Tony Allen said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had no walks and 10 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Bennett said.
