St. Catharines-Tyler Brawl, Chapin and Kroon Suspended Tuesday, May 12th , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Blue Jays Terry Chapin and the Trolls Duncan Kroon were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent St. Catharines-Tyler game. Terry Chapin will miss 3 games, while Duncan Kroon was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Terry Chapin commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season, Chapin is batting .431 with 31 hits, 2 home runs, 18 RBIs, .474 OBP and has scored 9 runs. This year, Duncan Kroon has made 12 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark and a 4.85 ERA. In pitching 13 innings, he has totaled 7 strikeouts and 7 walks. |
